Gerbrand Haverkamp is the Executive Director of the World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA). An organisation set out to build a movement to measure and incentivise business impact towards a sustainable future that works for everyone. To do so, the WBA has identified 7 systems transformations needed to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Based on these transformations the WBA has identified the world’s 2000 most influential companies. These keystone companies, for better or worse, have a disproportionate influence on our ability to achieve the SDGs. The WBA benchmarks and insight are free and publicly available and can be used by companies as well as their key stakeholders. Institutional and retail investors are among these key stakeholders as WBA believe investors – big and small – can play an extraordinary role in bringing about the change the world needs to see.
In this session Gerbrand will outline how WBA develops its benchmarks and how investors can use the benchmarks and their influence and voice in driving the transformations needed to achieve the SDGs.

Award Winning Authors and Directors of Companies in Motion – Claire Dale and Patricia Peyton (Physical Intelligence, Simon & Schuster 2019) will share insights about how physically intelligent people, teams and organisations can create the transformational framework for our post pandemic future.  They will discuss what a physically intelligent organisation might look like, how the workplace of tomorrow can work with rather than against the human system, and the role each of us plays in that journey.   They will describe how we can effectively harness the learning from COVID-19 and embed new habits because Physical Intelligence doesn’t just sit alongside but underpins our cognitive and emotional intelligences.
This talk is for everyone interested in understanding the urgency of  adding Physical Intelligence – THE human intelligence for the 21st Century –  to the agenda of any sustainable and profitable business.
Movement Specialist, leading exponent of Physical Intelligence, and co-author of Physical Intelligence (Simon & Schuster, 2019), Claire Dale successfully coaches and trains from board level down to newly hired employees to help them achieve peak performance through Physical Intelligence.
With a background in Contemporary dance, Claire led her own dance company to European critical acclaim during the 1990s representing Great Britain in a number of high profile Contemporary dance seasons. Claire has also created works for Sir Paul McCartney, Alsop Architects, CandoCo and L’Oreal as well as working on many theatre productions.
Developing and leading high profile projects in the arts enabled Claire to develop her own leadership skills through engaging stakeholders in meeting their agendas, bringing together teams of talented artists, inspiring them about the project and motivating them to reach the deadline of opening night. That experience inspired her to develop the concept of Physical Intelligence, using her knowledge of the body to support peak performance in Leadership Development and ultimately across all levels of the organisation.
Claire integrated her Physical Intelligence experience into the world of business by joining the elite team of business coaches at RADA and launching Companies in Motion in 2002 to carry forward her passion for and work with Physical Intelligence.
