Third PIMFA Diversity & Inclusion Awards Opens for entries

PIMFA, the trade association for the wealth management, investment services and financial advice sector, is delighted to announce its third annual Diversity & Inclusion Awards opens to entries today (12 April 2023).

PIMFA’s Diversity & Inclusion Awards seek to celebrate the many instances of good practice and innovation, which remain hidden or unrecognised with the profession. It also seeks to highlight new initiatives and provide inspiration to drive positive change and help build a more inclusive industry which better reflects its increasingly diverse customer base.

The awards, which have been warmly received in the past with hundreds of entries over the previous two years, form part of PIMFA’s commitment to promoting Talent, Inclusion, Diversity and Equity (TIDE) in all its forms within the wealth management and financial advice industry.

Following the success of the Diversity & Inclusions Awards PIMFA launched the ‘make it.’ campaign designed to encourage more people from all walks of life into the industry, with further initiatives to come.

The response we receive each year from the industry shows how seriously firms take this issue and, as always, the awards give us a great insight into the work being done by firms to better reflect the society we serve.

“Since last year’s Diversity & Inclusion Awards PIMFA has itself launched the ‘make.it’ campaign to encourage more people into the industry from all walks of life and we will be continuing to launch further campaigns as part of our commitment to Talent, Inclusion, Diversity and Equity in our industry.

“As in previous years I want to encourage firms of all sizes, as well as individuals, to examine what they are already doing to bring about change and enter the awards so that we can shine a light on the great work that is taking place out there.”
